The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of town. It was conveniently situated just a short walk away from the historical center, making it easy to explore the main sights and attractions. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and charming views of the city rooftops. the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, providing a luxurious experience. the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, served in a delightful setting. the hotel provided a wonderful experience with its ideal location, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and tasty breakfast.
The hotel did not have a casino or karaoke facilities, which would have added an extra element of entertainment for a lively nightlife experience.

Great Christmas market location, close to shops and restaurants. Nice and cozy room, with a comfortable bed. the breakfast offered a good spread of food to start the day.
The staff was not very friendly or welcoming, which was a downer during the holiday season. the heating system in the room was very outdated and we had to request extra blankets as the room was freezing.

The historical buiolding and the setting of he staircase and breakfast room
Personnell very very limited; efficient, kind enough but sometimes far from friendly. Pay attention not to slam the entrance door (better, portal): this could earn you eyebrows lifting and stiff-upper-lips reactions... The pity is nobody tells you in advance!

Not respecting 4-star standards at all. The owners are not Nice to guests ( at least to us), I think they are racists! Breakfast isn't a 4-star hotel breakfast, poor quality products. I borrowed a fork at 10pm and was asked to bring it back down immediately. I was strongly advised by the owner not to use room service (even paying!). The bed was hard. Terrible experience.

My husband and I spent a very pleasant two days at Hotel Walburg. It is well located near the canals. Our room was a spacious loft style room with two single beds. A very nice breakfast was served every morning with fresh orange juice and great coffee.

Hotel in excellent location. Very helpful staff.
Felt our bedroom at the top of the house was rather sparse. Needs something to make it slightly cosier. Lovely hotel but I felt it was a little over priced.

The breakfast may include vegetables, otherwise its good but too heavy

The management and staff of Hotel Walburg were very friendly and accommodating to our needs during our stay at this hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to the central city park where all the stores and markets are located. It is very convenience as well because there is a small store just at the corner of hotel where I was able to purchase items to bring to our hotel. This hotel is recommendable to stay.

Our room was luxurious. The staff was most helpful and courteous. They played lovely music in the public area.
I would have liked to have been able to have coffee prior to formal breakfast.

Unfortunately I arrived straight from the train station only to discover I had lost my wallet with all my credit cards. I was very upset. Both Beatrice and Gaston telephoned airline companies, train stations and did all they could in an attempt to help me find it. I also had problems (because of my lack of technical knowledge) getting 'on line' on my computer. Gaston very patiently helped me to get on. My husband, Will is an Interior Designer and was very impressed by the standard of the renovation of this hotel. We would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. I didn't have the time but I would be interested to know how wheelchair accessible it is. Room # 1 was certainly accessible escept for the toilet being in a separate room which would be too small to be able to get a wheelchair into. Also, I don't think there was a way to access the dining room if you were in a wheelchair. The bathroom would also have to have a very large shower with no step or ledge so a wheelchair could fit in. I only mention this because it would mean the hotel could then be advertised as wheelchair accessible. We loved our stay. Thank you.
